Jay316 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2014 Hi I am running the latest firmware 4.2.2 and Gotham 13.1 XBMC on an ATV1200. i was wondering why I am not able to change the resolution in XBMC to 1080P. It is just stuck at 720P. Is this something that was coded in the firmware to only allow this resolution and if so can we get a fix to get 1080P working. Thanks

It is just stuck at 720P. Is this something that was coded in the firmware to only allow this resolution and if so can we get a fix to get 1080P working. Thanks This is due to the firmware being built on a 720P kernel, if your output is on 1080P you will still get 1080P resolution. We are working on a 1080P kernel for the Dual Core models, however this will take some time.
