Wifi / ethernet buffering

Hi. I'm having a lot of streaming buffering on the 585 which I don't have on other devices. My mobile, tablet or notebook. I saw there was similar issues on the 582. Is the 585 also being looked at

Hmm. Think I've solved the wifi issue.

By default the 585 has wifi optimisation set to on!

Under the tab More Settings, goto Wifi.

On the far right hand side there's a menu.

The three vertical dots.

Select it, select advanced.

You will see an option called Wifi optimisation. Turn it off.

Why this is on by default I have no idea.

Its meant for a battery powered tablet or mobile to extend battery life!

After switching it off the 585 buffers much less.

Between this and pressing the remote menu button for one second as suggested in another forum the 585 works much better.
