Issues with Video Playback -- 1080P-X265?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Wondering why I might be having playback issues with the 1080P-X265 Feeds? I can select them, and they begin to play, but they are REALLY choppy and out of sync...

I thought this box could handle 4K video?

Please let me know,

Thanks,

The ATV 380 only software decodes H.265

So that is probably why you are experiencing these issues.

If wanting to get the best playback for H.265 content, you would need a device that Hardware decodes H.265

So with the 1800 there's no way to watch the H.265 files? Seems like everything is starting to move in that Direction.. I originally spent the extra on this box as I was under the impression it would basically play almost anything as it supports 4K, etc...

It's discouraging when my almost $300 MyGica box won't play something that my $40 cheapy box will...

So with the 1800 there's absolutely no way to play H.265 / HEVC files properly?

To answer both of you.

At this time there is no way to Hardware decode H.265

This is a limitation of the chipset, as it just outright does not support it.
