ATV 582 with Vizio M60 C3 TV

I have just purchase a new Vizio TV and can't get my ATV 582 box to work with it. My TV picks it up on HDMI 1 however the picture blacks off and on. I have tried several cables and no changes. Each time I changed the cable my TV picked the box output at 4K. How do I fix this issue?

silly question but have you tried a different hdmi port?

I have seen situations where the box works fin on hdmi 3 or 4 but not on 1 or 2.

failing that -- you may have to attach it to a different tv and manually set the resolution to 1080p to prevent it from auto detecting.

I found that my receiver was the problem it wouldn't allow 4K signal. I had to plug the box directly into the TV so much for having 5.1 sound.

Do you mean your Stereo receiver or the ATV 582?
