Device does not see my wi-fi network

I need some help please. I hope this is the correct place to post.

I purchased an ATV582 today, but it does not see my wi-fi network at all. All my other devices are connected to the network and working fine.

The ATV582 can see other networks in the area, just not my Home network.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Your network isn't hidden is it?

Obviously if you can see other networks, then wifi is working (is on). The only thing I can think of is that you have a hidden network and maybe need to connect to it manually (using the option under 'all settings' for wifi'.

Is your network setup as a 5GHZ network only?

If so, the 582 only works with 2.4GHZ networks
