kodi crashes part way through playing videos after update

Since the July 20 update, my Kodi seems to be crashing a lot (2-3 times per movie). These movies are being accessed through my home network over SMB. Never had this problem before. Anyone else experience this?

We only changed code in relation to the Home Screen launcher in this update.

So not sure why you are experiencing this now with the current update.

Are you running KODI 16.1? or updated it recently as well?

I have been running 16.1 since it was released before the update as well as after.

Have you tried re-setting up SMB in KODI?
