Need some help with getting 4k resolution

I have a Vizio M-70 4k TV and Yamaha RX-A1040 AV Receiver (4K capable) handling all signals to the TV.

I cannot get the 1800 to work on any of the 4k settings and I have no idea how to troubleshoot it. Open to any suggestions on how to proceed.

You need an hdmi 2.0 cord. Our box does not come with this as only a very few people have been taking advantage of it and we did not want to raise the cost of the unit for most.

 

Do you have one of these around by any chance?
