Audio cutting out

I keep having an issue where the audio stops working completely. sometimes toggling between xbmc and netflix works i've done 2 hard resets with the same issue recurring.

does anyone know if the 582 hdmi audio support 5.1? i saw the setting in xbmc but even when i select the 5.1 settings i don't get playback in anything but stereo. nor does netflix play 5.1 audio as it stats...any suggestions?

Did you switch to pass the audio to your receiver for processing ?(xbmc audio settings)

I have also experienced the issue with audio stops working in XBMC at random intervals.

Use the pass through feature in XBMC under audio settings.

I get dolby digital 5.1 in XBMC and it outputs to all speakers.
