xbmc screen resolution stuck on 1080p

ATV582, Firmware 08 / 01:

I have set the Android display resolution to 720p, but xbmc is locked to 1080p. I am not able to change this setting to 720p. Can you please advise?

This is due to our firmware being built on a 1080p kernel, so xbmc outputs in the resolution the kernel is built on

We are looking at trying to allow users to switch from 1080p to 720p, to 480p etc within xbmc, is in the works, but not sure on release date for this
