Ethernet lighh constantly flashing

Hi everyone. My Ethernet light is constantly flashing, even when the box is in standby mode. I did some investigation and it looks like it's a UDP broadcast, for network discovery. I don't want this. Any idea how to turn it off, even from the command line?

Currently there is no way to turn this off.

I will inquire about how they can have ethernet completely shut off once the unit is put into standby mode.

Currently only way to fix this, would be to turn off your Ethernet in the Settings menu, before turning off the unit.

Its a quick fix for now, till something else can be figured out.
