kicsrules 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 hope someone here knows the deal... here it goes: i´m currently trying to watch an m3u file which has the link for a video stream... (which is freely available to anyone because that network station has it in their webpage) now the main issue i found is that under android it stops in 10-11 seconds (using it as play list / under iptv simple addon / under navi-x) it doesnt matter the addon or method you use as long its under xmbc android, it stops... now under windows x86 it plays correctly, no video cut off no nothing plays perfectly not even cache hiccups or buffering... i replicated the same issue in several devices, all android... stream: http://urtmpkal-f.akamaihd.net/i/077zoq ... _av-p.m3u8 PC windows xmbc 13.2 plays perfectly (m3u playlist, iptv simple channel or navi-x) PC VLC plays perfectly Mygica ATV582 Android xbmc 13.1 stops in 10-11 seconds (no matter wich addon/player you use) Mygica ATV582 Android xbmc 13.1 MxPlayer plays perfectly Nexus 7 android xbmc 13.2 stops in 10-11 seconds (no matter wich addon/player you use) Nexus 7 android xbmc 13.2 stops in 10-11 seconds (no matter wich addon/player you use) Nexus 7 android MxPlayer plays perfectly Nexus 7 android xbmc 14.0 Helix alpha stops in 10-11 seconds (no matter wich addon/player you use) Nexus 5 Android xbmc 13.2 stops in 10-11 seconds (no matter wich addon/player you use) Nexus 5 Android xbmc 13.2 MxPlayer plays perfectly

Justin 206 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 wrong stream:this is the one that stops https://ott.totalplay.com.mx/TPHLSWeb/M ... 40&f=.m3u8 This sounds like a problem with XBMC Androids internal Video Player I will bring this up with our engineers to see if this can be resolved by them, or if it would have to be addressed by the XBMC team of devs.
kicsrules 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 thnx if you need more links let me know, also one more thing i´ve been investigating what may cause this and apparently ffmpeg version 1.1 so i dont know how to check if xbmc relies on that version (xbmc internal DVDPlayer) or has another one.... thnx anyway
