Unable to read from USB?

I have tried a couple of USB memory sticks and a couple of external hard drives and it can not seem to find any files to play video on my Mygica. Any help would be appreciated.

Which video player are you using when you are trying to access these files?

VLC, I was also trying to find it in file manager, I was also trying to load them in my videos in XBMC

How are those drives formatted?

Unsure how they are formatted. I am a rookie with the Mygica as I have had WD for years now. I just assumed you could put a flash drive in and play videos like with the WD.

I know to access Hard Drives using the app "File Manager" You have to select Up, and then you will see your hard drives listed as SDA1, SDA0 etc.

In XBMC it is now different due to Android 4.4 having SD and USB Restrictions

In order to add files from your Hard Drive within XBMC you must find them this way

Browse - Root File System - Storage - External Storage
