How to use the Box with a Projector?

Hello, i just purchased a new projector, I was looking forward to hook the Atv1200 unit to the projector and watching tv..

The issue is when i insert the HDMI cable, it says HDMI not supported

HDMI cable also causes the picture to flicker on and off

when cable removed it stays steady

How would i connect this to the projector so that i can watch Tv?

Anyone experience this, or know how to use it?

Change the display settings to Auto Detect for your output mode of the Display resolution

It will Auto Detect the resolution properly for your Projector.

Iv looked on the box, On the main menu settings screen and the settings screen in XBMC.

I do not see this option to choose auto detect?

Can you please explain with step by steps on how this is done

Go into the app. "Settings Mbox" there will be a display menu. You will be able to turn Auto Detect from here.

1) Go to Settings Mbox

2) go to Display

3) make sure Auto Output mode is ON?

Correct?

Anything else? As the auto Output mode was already on when i went there?

Do you know which display resolution your projector supports. 1080P-60hz. 720P-60hz?

Maybe auto detect wont work, try manually setting it to 720P-60HZ and turn auto detect off.
