iOS Remote Conroll App?

Recommended Posts

Hello, just got the MyGica ATV582 and was wondering if there is an iOS app for iPad or iPhone that can controll the 582 over wifi?

Thanks.

The only IOS app is the XBMC one, but it only works within XBMC.

There is no IOS app for our Android boxes, as this is very hard and expensive to do.

I have discovered the "Air keyboard" app.

You can search and download it from the app store.

After you install it go to www.airkeyboardapp.com using the 582's web browser and download/install the server app for android (unfortunately it is beta version)

It is working relatively well as a mouse, but the keyboard function is not working (for me at least).

If someone finds a solution for the following it would be great:

1) How to autostart the android server app every time the 582 boots up

2) How to make the app's keyboard function to work properly

With regards to my issue with Air keyboard app's keyboard function.

I have just found a solution to the problem!

If one selects "air keyboard" option at the input methods at the android configuration, the it works fine.

Unfortunately it is not selected by default :)

With regards to the Auto start issue with Air keyboard, apparently there is an app called "Auto start" which can solve the problem!

@Sparro's snippy response, it hadn't even been 24 hours since your original post. God forbid the forum admins don't jump instantly on all the postings that come in.

Justin's a good guy and has been helpful, give him a break.
