Hennievm 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2015 Succesfully installed Kodi on my atv582, it seems to run better than 13.2 after last updates... Is there a fiix for remote xbmc button, to reroute to Kodi? Not essential, but could be handy. (using Logitech K400r keyboard and remote)
rsmithnt 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2015 How did you install Kodi? Can you please give the steps. Will th e ATV582 run Kodi properly?
Justin 206 Report post Posted January 16, 2015 You can download Kodi here http://kodi.tv/download/ Make sure to download the Android ARM Version. There is a How To Link on there as well in regards to installing it. We will be releasing our MyGica Edition of Kodi this month. As for the remote button, this is something we will change soon, but requires a firmware update. I have changed buttons in the past for some of our commercial customers, that just required patch files. So I will just ask them for a patch file like this and offer it for download on the forum. Silverfox 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 Tried both Kodi 14.0 and 14.1, but cannot remap keys via Keymap Editor. On the MyGica 13.2 version, I have remapped the numerical keys to some of the XBMC navigation (Play/Pause, Stop, etc) keys, and then programmed these keys to my universal One-for-all remote. Had to revert to the MyGica 13.2 version for the Key Editor to work properly.

carl.heymann 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2015 Hi All/Justin I tried to install the update for my ATV582 from the following link as all XBMC --> Kodi links point to this. http://www.mygica.ca/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 8757#p8757 However when I insert a blank SD card with just the .IMG file it does not do anything in the update menu, it just shows me the "Back" option. If I browse to the file on the player I can see the file. Thank you in advance.
