Soundblaster USB Support

I am looking at using the ATV 520e as an audio streaming device replacing an old Logitech Duet solution I had. I would like to drive an existing power amp with old RCA analog audio jacks from the streaming audio device (possibly the 520e if I can get this to work). Rather than looking at a solution to convert the HDMI output to a analog audio source, I am looking at the Creative Soundblaster Play USB Sound (http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_ ... _id=034732) to create the analog audio. My question is whether this configuration would work - can the 520e inter-operate with the USB device so when using xbmc music playback it will convert FLAC files to audio?

None of us here have ever tried to use a device like the one you want to use, so we are un sure if something like this would work properly.

For $24.99 I would suggest going ahead and trying this out for yourself, just ask Canada Computers what there return policy would be on this item, just in case it does not work, and you want to return it.
