I recentley purchased one and now when i started box it came up to system recovery screen.my issue is remote that came with it will not scroll up or down.any help would be greatly appreciated. And for record yes i checked batteries

Its like it no longer recognized remote.wont turn on off nothing

You will have to hookup a USB keyboard to scroll through the recovery menu.

Try selecting reboot system now, to see if it will reboot into the main men.

The keyboard allowed me to reboot although it boots back into same screen.i tried a hard reboot as per video it wipes formats etc.but again boots up into same screen.i quite enjoy product for few weeks ive had but its quite frustrating at this point.any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance scott

Try this upgrade

Since it sounds like you are using the newer big remote control. You will have to install these files after the upgrade
