atv582 with xbmc audio dropping

I using hdmi and when watching xbmc tv show or movie will not send 5.1 audio only 2.1 and audio is dropping any ideas

Settings within XBMC ( or Kodi ) that is preventing this ... try something outside Kodi and see if it works
