I thought I bricked my ATV495 . I ended up with a solid orange light. Nothing worked Without thinking I plugged my USB adapter containing micro sd Android 7.1 into a USB slot instead of the Micro Usb Slot. I ended up with a solid orange light. Nothing worked I followed all the steps above. I had a similar experience to user QVortex , the USB port closest to the SD card slot recognized my device instantly and started initializing. (Windows 10 - 1903) Holding the power button never worked for me.
