Cannot Map to a Network Drive!

Recommended Posts

Really? Some of us don't like storing to a cloud and have adequate private storage, often in the form of a network drive. Mine is of 2TB capacity and I have much there in the way of photos, videos and music which I cannot access on my big-screen because MyGica (in my case the 1800E) can't find the network drive which is so easily apparent to my other desktops, laptop, and tablets. This is a major disappointment, and I can only hope that this glaring deficiency is addressed in a future firmware update.

Your 1800 might not be able to, but my 380 can see my network server (in my case a dell business class computer) and works great through the smb settings.

1800 and 380 use the same Firmware

So if it works for you on 380, it would work the same on 1800
