Some options don't appear on context menu in file manager

Recommended Posts

I received my ATV1800e last week and still getting used to it.

When I go into the system file manager within Kodi and bring up the context menu for a file I only get the following options:

Select all

Add to favourites

Rename

Delete

Make new folder

To to root

Switch media

Some commands are missing (eg. copy, move, etc.). Does anyone know why this would happen? Do I need to change a setting somewhere?

Are you comparing these settings to a version of KODI for a different OS like Windows?

Reason I ask, is not everything about KODI is the exact same on all the different OS that it supports.

Mystery solved! I had wanted to copy a file to a memory stick and was figuring out how to do it. It wasn't until I actually stuck the memory stick into the usb port did the context menu appear with the other (formerly missing) options.
