Google play issue after firmware update : Check your connect

Hi

I have update the firmware on my 1800e to the "20150321" update.

After doing the update I cannot use Google Play store.

I get a "Check your connection and try again" message. I have tried clearing the cache etc and tried some trouble shooting but still have the problem. Google play was fine before doing the firmware upgrade.

Hope someone can help

Google play issue is happening a lot.. still dead here after applying some patch I was sent.

That usually fixes it. Are you getting the message "Check your connection and try again" or retry?

Nothing.. no message, the app is non-functional and going thru the browser doesn't work either. I can get as far as "your download will start soon" to the device, but nothing happens

Happens here as well. Netflix is now broken too.

Updating to the new firmware will also fix the issue.

Didn't for me, March 31 and the latest beta was still a no go on the 1800e. Used a patch that Dlangejc gave me.
