Yes, you can't have Kodi 14.1 running and try to install Kodi 15.0

I upgraded to kodi 15.1, is there anyway I can move my files from the file manager over to kodi? The upgraded kodi is blank, I've lost my genesis, ice films etc. please help

You can install the program add on. "Backup" to backup any version of KODI and then restore it to a fresh install of KODI on another device. This is apart of the official KODI Repo.

File Manager works as well, this is what I mainly use as I have my add ons folder and user data folder backed up onto a USB Drive. It is just hard to explain on where to copy and paste everything, as there are so many sub folders to get into.
