How to check for OTA updates

Recommended Posts

How do you force the device to check for OTA updates?

Under the settings part of the Launcher, there is icon for Software Updates.

Uncheck the button for Automatic Updates, it will then give you an option to Manually check for updates.

Or you can check Automatic Updates again, and the box will always check for updates.

Last night I switched to manual and checked - threw an error that the update server was down. Was something going on?

There are no new updates out right now for OTA.

Yeah, it behaved as normal last night (no error - no update). I thought you were hoping to have one end of week last week that would address some of the network issues - still in the works?

Yes network issues being addressed with AMlogic, seems there Network drivers need a re-write.
