Justin, just a request if it can be made...

is it possible to have the netflix app modified for this box, the netflix app that ships with it (or available in the play store) is optimized for touchscreens and not for this remote, is very annoying moving the cursor with the standard remote.

Before the last update that just came out a few days ago, the IR remote worked great, just needed the cursor to click play.

But they just came out with a new User Interface, and apparently the IR remote does not work.

We have contacted Netflix to get a custom app made for Mygica, just last week.

However we have not heard back from them yet, if we dont hear back from them soon, we will have the factory contact them as well, its just hard to get in touch with them, as they only wanna be contacted by email for these types of requests.

If you haven't already, try updating the app through the Google Play store, I have not had a chance to try the latest update that just came out, but the new update comes with a new app logo, which is white background and Netflix in red lettering, you will have to find the app within the launcher you are using, as the Netflix logo on the Mygica launcher is built into the launcher design.

I will update status on here in regards to getting in touch with Netflix to customize the app for an IR remote

Netflix is currently creating a new app which will be for the new Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, which will now be utilized for a Set Top Box TV experience as well as a Mobile/Tablet experience.

So I am sure there will be a way to port these new apps to 4.4 Kit Kat, since these apps will be available on the Play Store.

Otherwise its been confirmed from our engineers that we should be able to do an OS upgrade to Android 5.0 once its available and properly edited to work on our Quad Core boxes.
