OPEN Elec does not fix 1800E wifi slow issue

Hello,

The latest OpenElec 1800E S802_s812_openelec worked ok on my 1800E but the wifi is still buggy. Lots of buffering.

With the original firmware I could hit a key/button the free up resources and you see the little rocket ship taking off. Then I can usually watch

stuff with buffering.

I am unable to get this option working on OpenElec.

Back to original Android firmware for me.

Sorry nobody responded to this.

Seems odd that this is happening on OPENELEC, since it barely uses any resources and would not keep any background apps open.

Will have to try this a lot more on our side to see if we get the same results.
