DVB-T / E-AC3 French HD channel sound cut

Hello,

In France we have some HD Channel with MPEG4 / E-AC3 128 or 256 kbps (Dolby Digital +) codec (for example R5 multiplex)

For this HD Channel, I have, with DTV app, sound cut every 5 seconds during about 2 minutes, after is is okay for some channel (TF1 HD and France 2 HD for example) but not all

Strangely, M6 HD channel with E-AC3 256kbps the sound is okay after 30 seconds only.

No problem for MPEG4 / Stereo channel like ARTE HD or MPEG2 channel

Could you fix that ?

I do some more test,

in summary from the DTV app with DBV-T

MP4 / E-AC3 2.0 = sound cut every 5 seconds during about 2 minutes or more

MP4 / E-AC3 5.1 = sound cut every 5 seconds during about 30 seconds

MP4 / Stereo = no prob

MP2 / Stereo = no prob

So it seems that there is a bug with real time e-ac3 decoding

If I record MP4 / E-AC3 2.0 with sound cut, there is no sound cut during the replay.

Do you think it could have a fix for this bug ?

If not, I do not recommand french people to buy the ATV 586 DVB-T2. It is not compatible with TNT HD in France (sound cut).
