kodi kicks back to launcher (apps/settings)

Kodi version 5.02 the beast MyGica 1900

seconds after loading the beast it returns to the launcher

tried accessing from apps, same problem

youtube works ok

search ok

tried clearing cache didn't help

considering factory reset

FYI, Kodi works without any issues on my desktop

any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

I thought The Beast (if we're talking the Kodi build) was a freaking monster. With all the bells and whistles involved, how much room do you have left on your box?

The easiest way to check is to clear data (wipe) Kodi from settings, then try to run stock Kodi for a bit. If you've already installed the Beast then you already know how to reinstall...

Doing a factory reset solved the problem. I decided not to use "The Beast" at this time to keep things simple. Thank you for your suggestion.
