CliveB 1 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 1900 pro firmware upgrade Hi there I tried to run the firmware upgrade last night but was unsuccessful . I got a message stating that the firmware image failed the security check. Is there a setting on the player that I need to change in order for this to work or is the image file not digitally signed? Please see the firmware version that I tried to install . http://mygicasupport.com/index.php?/files/file/17-1900-pro-jan-30-2017/ Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have this same issue when trying to upgrade firmware using a 64GB SD card. If I use 32GB or less, I don't get this issue.

Bob Greenop 1 Report post Posted May 11, 2017 I've tried a 4G and an 8G without success. I've tried a USB stick as well and that doesn't work. The screen freezes up at MyGica. When using the 1900 link to download I get a message that the disk is corrupt. Using the Beta 5.1 link I don't get that message ?? I have tried multiple times using an SD and the stick without anything. Very frustrating and a very poorly supported product only 1 year old !!!

Sounds like you are trying to use 1900 PRO firmware on your 1800e? You can find the 1800E/1900AC Android 5.1 Firmware from here
