freakrant 1 Report post Posted October 3, 2014 Hi, I added the new firmware and upgraded Xbmc to Mygica Edition Gotham 13.2. My question is how was the new buffer size increased? Was this done with "advancedsettings" file in the user data directory or is this something that is coded into 13.2? The reason I ask is when I upgraded i wiped user data and 13.2 ended up as a clean install. Then I copied my old data files over to keep my old configuration the same with minimum work. This worked fine and everything functions correctly but I'm just not sure if I over wrote that "advancedsettings" file and put my Xbmc back into the stone age. Please advise. Justin 206 Report post Posted October 7, 2014 It is something that was done by XBMC, so therefore not done in the advance settings. So I would not worry about anything, I always overwrite my userdata files, and ever since I upgraded to the 13.2 Mygica edition, have noticed much better playback in regards to the buffer size since then.
