how to use 1800 on older tv's

trying to use mygica 1800e on a older sony tv model number KP-51WS510 using avi cords the pictures constanting scrolls up and down tried changing resolution to 480p or 960i still no luck. but works fine on new tv with hdmi. any solution to make this work on this older tv set

Try changing the resolution to 480i

Was this issue resolved as I am having the same issue. It seems the output of the video signal is coming from the HDMI output regardless of the resolution changes in the system. Is there a way/fix for the output to come from the component?
