I tried to use my logitech wireless mouse with the ATV582 and it doesnt seem to work. Should it work?

Also, any recommendations on on wireless mouse, and a keyboard/touchpad combo to use with the ATV582?

Can you try a different USB port, as I have never ran into this problem

Also a very good, keyboard and touchpad would be the Logitech K400, should be about $35-50

ill try again tonight. But even with a wired mouse, it seems only 1 of the usb ports works.

I also got fed up with the remote, and ended up buying this

Although I bought it off of ebay a little cheaper. It isn't the perfect remote, but is close, certainly the closest I've found. Honestly I have been holding off on buying another remote for ages, but was so happy with this I bought another *two* for friends as xmas presents. I know it's another $20, which sucks, but I have kicked myself for not buying it sooner. There are lots out there though! Strange about only one USB slot working. Maybe something like these two apps would give you a glimpse to see if your device is being detected when it's being plugged in..
