ATV 1800e Blank screen.

Greetings,

My box works well for the most part. But every once in a while the screen goes "black/blank" with a no signal message (from the TV).

I figured it was a problem with the HDMI cable. Tried a different one same effect.

Though this does happen intermittently, when it starts it just keeps doing it.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a different Display Resolution setting?

You can find this in the settings menu, under the Advanced Section

I changed the resolution from auto to 1080p @60

Seems to be stable.

1080P-60HZ is a very common setting for TV's. So you shouldn't have any issues with this.

Hi Justin, got a 4K Samsung curve TV and I can't seem to set mygica 1800e box to 4K resolution. When I do, it goes dark, no signal and resets back to the previous setting. I'm able to set it up to 1080p 60h but none of the 4K options. Any suggestions?

I have the demon 4K receiver and new HD cables. Tried switching but that didn't work. I do however have it plugged to the xbox one directly but tried without it by connecting it to the receiver to see but no luck.
