Updating the two fixes.

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to add the 'fixes' files(minfree and drop frames). When I try to update using the update app the box reboots and just sits at the android startup screen. This happens for both files and I've tried it on a few different ATV582. All with the same results.

Is there another way to apply these fixes?

Use the Quick Boot app, to get into recovery mode.

Can update them that way.

Make sure you are on 11-05 firmware though, otherwise the patches will not work at all.

I tried that but the boxes still just sit and the Android Screen and I have to unplug the box to get it to reboot.

Any ideas?

Your sd card isn't prepared properly, format it to fat32 and try again, or try different card all together
